Christian Bale would kill to keep his daughter happy.

The 'Batman Begins' star, who became a father in 2005, insists there is nothing he wouldn't do for his child, even murder.

Bale said: "Many parents feel they would kill for their children. "There's something about being prepared to kill to stop any kind of tears coming across your kid's face."

The actor admits he often worries that his movie career will implode and will not be able to make enough money to look after his daughter.

He added: "I have my periods when I do worry about stability, especially as a father.

The 33-year-old married former model and make-up artist Sibi Blazic in January 2000 and they became parents on March 27 2005 but have kept the name of their daughter a secret.

I think that it's really admirable that Christian cares so much for his daughter's happiness. He has nothing to worry about financially, his career is sky rocketing and I'm sure he's just going to get richer and more famous. He's my favourite actor and a real icon.
