Cate Blanchett wants to take up knitting - but keeps forgetting to start.
The 'Good German' actress wants to take up the hobby - currently favored by Hollywood stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Julia Roberts and Uma Thurman - and start knitting on set, but despite buying needles and wool she never gets round to it.
Blanchett confessed to In Style magazine: "It looks a great thing to do on set. I always want to start, but the wool and the needles end up staying in the bag for the entire shoot.
"I love to wander and talk to people, but I'd still like to sit down and knit something."
The 37-year-old star - who has two young sons, five-year-old Dashiell and two-year-old Roman - admits she spends most of her spare time between takes sleeping.
She said: "Most of the time, I just try to get as much sleep as I can.
"Quite often, my boys will come and visit me on set, which is great because you can watch the process of filming through their eyes."
