Joss Stone's Lauren snub

Joss Stone was snubbed by Lauren Hill.
The Devon-born singer, who collaborated with the former Fugee's star for a track on her new album 'Introducing Joss Stone', has revealed the pair never met or even spoke.
Joss said: "I had no contact with Lauren. None. I spoke to her mother a few times on the phone to sort if out. But I just sent the track off, she laid down her part and sent it back.
"I haven't asked for any feedback from her. I don't want to bother her any more. She's done it and it's great."
Joss also revealed that while she takes good care of her voice it is always husky.
She said: "I'm just meant to be raspy. I don't drink too much alcohol, I drink all the right teas with honey. But it just stays the same."

How is the album cliche' after cliche'? I actually thoroughly enjoyed the album. Her last album was cliche'. You can tell it was record label crap. She's only 19. She has a career some veterans wish they could have. If I was 19 with all of that - there's no telling what i would be doing. Be objective. I couldn't stand her before because she was such a gimmick. Now, I think the real her is coming out. A little crazy - yeah. Aren't we all? Her album is very good (not classic). She has a long way to go. And if she's making music like this at 19, i'm definitely will be looking out for her in the future.
BTW - Lauryn doesn't work with anybody period. The fact that lauyrn laid a track is bananas. Out of all people, I would never guess she would do for Joss Stone. Wow, i can't believe it. That track is hot too.

She doesnt drink too much alcohol????????? is she for real? we've all seen the pics of her out her head on alcohol,every time u see pics of her she's the one with booze in her hand!! Even those Barbados pics that surfaced she had booze,and dont even start with her drugs saga!!
Is it any wonder Lauryn hasnt contacted her..Stone hyped up the song like she had L in studio,and that she was responsible for getting L back in public arena,when in fact L has been doing bits n pieces for some time now!!
L only appeared on stone project cos her own rec company wont release her album,and its a way of forcing their hand,by getting press attention for herself!!
This project is a real comedown for someone of L's talent,the Stone album is cliche after cliche
Stone tho has wrote a whole essay on L in the albm thanks,acting like they're best buds when Stone knows nothing about L and has never met her!!
She is a first class fool!!
