Madonna's cone of silence
By Stone Martindale Mar 10, 2007, 21:14 GMT
Page Six reveals that Crown Publishers has obtained the rights to a tell-all book that will expose the diva behavior of entrepreneur and songstress Madonna.
"Live To Tell: My Life as Madonna's Nanny" is written by ex-nanny Melissa Dumas.
Dumas paints a picture in the Madonna-Ritchie household as a bit grim. Madona is written as an overly strict mother who won't allow anybody to make noise in the house while she's sleeping - "not even running water for showers," reported Page Six.
Dumas alleges she was staff and worked in Madonna's four homes with her and her children during 2005 and 2006, and was mandated to adhere to Madge's meticulous rules, including a complete house ban on all television, newspapers or magazines, and a strict dietary regimen.
Page Six reports Los Angeles literary agent Sharlene Martin confirmed "a strong six-figure pre-emptive sale" of the book.
The book is being co-written by a celebrity ghostwriter and is expected to be fast-tracked for September release.
