Noel Gallagher prepares

Noel Gallagher is prepared for fatherhood - this time.

The Oasis guitarist, who announced on Wednesday (07.03.07) he is expecting a baby with girlfriend Sara McDonald, recently admitted it felt like a "bad dream" when he had his first child, seven-year-old daughter Anais, with ex-wife Meg Matthews.

He told BBC Radio 1: "Your whole life changes forever in a blink of an eye. Girls have nine months to prepare for being a mother. Whereas blokes think up until the last minute that it's all a mistake. That someone is going to come in and say, 'Come through to this room sir, it's all been a bad dream.' But it doesn't happen and you think, 'Oh bugger.' You really do."

The couple, who have been dating for seven years, waited until after Sara had her three month scan and knew the baby was OK before telling family and friends the joyous news.

Noel's brother and Oasis bandmate Liam has three children, son Gene with his fiancée Nicole Appleton, son Lennon with his ex-wife Patsy Kensit and daughter Molly, who was conceived after Liam had a brief fling with singer Lisa Moorish in 1998.
