Rosie`s great big mouth yaps again. It`s like watching a train wreck in slow mo... were she remotely attractive- and she`s not- she`d be the next Anna Nicole, with cemetary eyes.
Slightly more entertaining than a pig wallowing in a pool of mud... At second glance, it IS that pig again.
Perhaps if we all stop talking about her, she'll go away. One can only hope.
Perhaps we should focus on the fact that Rosie is a malicious, boorish, bitter creature and we should stop disparaging her based on her looks. Being abusive to fat people is the last acceptable form of discrimination. Being fat doesn’t make a person evil and I don’t think Rosie would be a “nicer” person if she were thin. The real ugly is coming from within. It’s pathetic when people focus on her looks rather than HER!
In North America, being overweight seems more of a crime than being a rapist (Mike Tyson, *Kobe Bryant ( *alleged rapist ??? * ), a racist ( Mel Gibson ), a killer ( OJ ), a drug pusher ( Howard K. Stern ), a no talent waste of blue eye shadow ( Paris Hilton ), a vicious, judgmental, war loving, self important heartless hypocrite ( Dr. Laura ), a pedophile, ( Michael Jackson ) and the list could go on. Does it really matter how these people look? Would being raped by a good looking man, rather than a dirty bum, make the crime more bearable for the victim? What is UGLY is their conduct and their “I’m above the law” attitudes. These freaks get away with their actions because of their celebrity status and money and looks, knowing full well America will “forgive” them almost anything. All they need to do is a quick visit to rehab and make half hearted mia culpa’s and we, the little people, will put these celebs back on their pedestal.
Such a shame the way America creates instant 'hero's', who have not done anything significant or altruistic but they are good looking or rich and that’s all that matters. Anna Nicole was a prime example...she was hard to listen to, uncouth, vacant, stoned and a totally sad case but her looks and money made her an instant popular celebrity. However when she got fat, she was mocked and despised. When she got back her heroin chic skinny look, no one seemed to mind that she was drug addled and hollow eyed. She was THIN again so she was IN AGAIN. Then she dies and all sorts of her, many “best friends” are extolling her great virtues.
We love to find out their guilty secrets, then we enjoy watching them be torn apart in the media. We join in on the “kill” in blogs and chat forums, some attacking them, others defending them, we analyze and dissect every little move they make and we speak as though we really know them personally. Then we readily accept their feeble excuses, their tearful confessions, carefully spun statements issued by their PR’s, we sheep, go right back to worshiping them. We move on to attack the next “flavor of the week” fallen celebrity. So please, if you are going to hate on someone, focus on their words and actions—NOT their appearance! Yes....Rosie is vile but it has nothing to do with her appearance or her weight.
*PS …and NO, I am not fat. I am not considered ugly. But let’s see how many people reply to my post by proclaiming I AM fat, ugly, wart covered, hairy legged, pimple bummed, dandruff ladden and hammer toed and that is why I posted this.*
About time someone had something positive and interesting to say. You go girl!
