Reese Witherspoon was looking fabulous in her aubergine strapless gown at the Oscars, which she attended sans boyfriend. Now there is a steady drumbeat of rumors and sightings involving her and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Gyllenhaal and Reese spent the weekend in New York getting even better acquainted according to OK! magagazine.
The single and looking to mingle Oscar winning stunner allegedly visited Jake’s Greenwich Village penthouse on March 1st.
He allegedly stopped by her Mandarin Oriental hotel room in Midtown Manhattan to visit.
OK! speculates their "blossoming love affair is taking its toll on her estranged husband, Ryan Phillippe."
Actor Phillippe is allegedly "begging his soon-to-be ex-wife to give their relationship another shot and that he is determined to do whatever it takes to win back the love of his life."

Ryan wants Reese back so much that is why he has been spotted with an actress under 20 (one of his friend's girlfriends-sure) and Ashley Simpson.
