Oasis star Noel Gallagher is going to be a father again.

The guitarist and his long-term girlfriend Sara McDonald, who have been dating for seven years, have announced they are expecting their first child together.

The excited couple waited until after Sara had her three month scan to tell family and friends the joyous news.

A close friend of the couple said: "Noel and Sara are really happy. Neither of them want to get married but both felt it was the right time to start a family."

The baby will be Sara's first child. Noel already has a seven-year-old daughter, Anais, with ex-wife Meg Matthews.

Meanwhile, Noel's brother Liam is reportedly set to open a beauty salon.

The millionaire Oasis frontman is said to have purchased premises in North London and plans to get started on the project straight away.

Liam has told fiancée Nicole Appleton - who he has a son Gene, with - she can run the salon with her sister Natalie.

News of the proposed salon comes a day after their recently reunited band All Saints was dropped by record company Parlophone.

A source said: "Liam is devoted to Nicole. He just wants her to be happy and this should do the trick."
