P Diddy sued

P Diddy is being sued for allegedly assaulting a man outside a post-Oscars party.
Estate agent Gerard Rechnitzer claims the rapper - real name Sean Combs - punched and pushed him and his girlfriend outside Hollywood nightclub Teddy's in the early hours of February 26.
Legal papers filed on March 2 state: "Combs, also known as 'Diddy', also known as 'P. Diddy', also known as 'Puff Daddy', also known as 'Puffy', hereinafter Defendant Combs, suddenly said to the Plaintiff, 'What the f**k you looking at dude?'
"Then he shouted, 'I'll smack flames out of your ass!' "
The documents state the music mogul "intentionally, wilfully, knowingly and unlawfully attacked, assaulted and battered" Rechnitzer causing him to "fly backward several feet" and hit a parked car.
The suit also alleges P Diddy pushed Rechnitzer's girlfriend and "attempted to spit on another female member" of Rechnitzer's group.
The rapper's lawyer Benjamin Brafman said: "The case will be vigorously defended.
"It's just another example of an opportunist seeking to fabricate a lawsuit based on a flat-out lie to try to take advantage of Mr. Combs' celebrity status.
"Mr. Combs did not hit anyone and Mr. Rechnitzer suffered no injuries or damages whatsoever. There is no case. It is that simple."
Rechnitzer, 27, claimed he visited the bathroom at Teddy's and upon his return found his fiancée surrounded by six men, including P Diddy.
Rechnitzer allegedly watched as the rapper flirted with his fiancée for about five minutes, before the estate agent asked her to leave with him.
Diddy then reportedly told the woman he was having a party and invited her. Rechnitzer again asked her to leave with him. The rap star then allegedly punched the estate agent in the jaw.
Rechnitzer called emergency services and filed a report with the LAPD. Diddy left before they arrived. Rechnitzer declined the offer of medical treatment.

yes I am no longer struck by the flowering of bigoted and outright racist comments made regarding similar incidents involving celebrity people of color. When Paris Hilton or Britney Spears gets in trouble rarely do you see associations made to the formers status as a known slut and the latter's origins in a not so upscale part of Louisiana. You also rarely hear comments deriding an entire ethnic group or a class of music when these non colored people have outrageous incidents levied against them. The closet bigots grow like weeds online it seems. What fears to shine in the light, comes out in the night I guess.

The postings about Britney were in three categories: the dumb 'I love you' types, the religious pity types, and the rest who dismissed her behavior as that of a spoiled trailer-trash slut with too much money from making well choreographed videos to crappy music. Similar thing with Paris.
As far as your entire ethnic group or a class of music comment remember that white people arent the ones excluding and mocking others for making 'their' music. You see more blacks in rock bands than whites in rap and you see more whites listening to rap than blacks listening to rock.

If there is a racial component to the story, soon enough people like yourself are associating the ethnicity of the celebrity with an implied tendency to cause trouble or be belligerent. Note, Puffy was accused of misconduct, he wasn't caught on tape performing it, yet you and your cohorts seem to have already judged and sentenced him to the gallows. Why? As for your counter to the way stories with Britney and others are handled, sure I've seen the responses from 'white' folks that call her trailer trash but I've never seen anyone attack the type of music she makes (pop) because they dislike her..if you pay attention you'll see this is a common linkage when it comes to celebrity people of color particularly when they are in the 'rap' industry. As for 'diddy' my personal opinion is he is a talent less hack, he had more drive and ambition than skill (that he got from his artists) and he parlayed that into millions. Not what I'd consider honorable money but then a lot of famouse American people (Capone, Gotti, the Kennedy's) got their money by doing outright illegal things. Puffy IMO is arrogant, not very bright and inarticulate but that shouldn't reflect on the music he's produced. There are a lot of people in urban music that are far smarter and articulate than he but those people tend to be equally low key and anti lime light. I am not going to sit here and tell you that bias doesn't go both ways but this is America and the non 'white' portion of society has taken a heck of a lot more bias just for being non 'white' than the 'white' portion ever will. If you deny this you are definitely living in a state of delusion but then based on the comments you made already I don't expect you to respond with reason or show that you learned anything after all your name is 'hater'.

I believe the above comment from 'Puffy' may actually have come from Puffy! The word 'loser' was used twice and they managed to mis-spell it both times.....I'm still a bit confused about the word that we can't seem to do for 'our women'. Can anyone translate?

Blacks in America, have a problem. They have no role models other than people like Sean Combs and Artest. They continually bemoan that they are victims of one sort of discrimation or prejudce. Until Negros, stand up on thier on feet, like, Jews, have done, they will continue to be detested by every productive member of society.

A large portion of the blacks in this country are taught that it is a white man's world from birth. In this white man's world the only legitimate way to get ahead is through entertainment (sports, movies, tv, music). Most of this entertainment glorifies drugs, violence, disrespect to women. Then this is how they live and people are suprised?
This is a nurture issue, time for black people to get over the past and deal with the present and future.

I believe theres some underlying motives here for this event. All I know is that Sean Combs is a bit of a hot head and I wouldnt doubt he would start something with this man. My only doubt is if he really did commit assault. If he did, he is a complete moron given his celebrity status.
