Lily Allen's brother arrested

Singer Lily Allen's brother Alfie was arrested yesterday when their mother called police claiming he had assaulted her, reports the Sun.

Mum Alison Owen is said to have suffered a minor head wound during the alleged attack at the Allen home in Islington, North London.

Police are holding 20-year-old actor Alfie Allen on suspicion of assault.

The Sun reports Lily was in Paris attending a fashion shoot where she was pictured with designer Stella McCartney.

Lily and Alfie are Alison’s children by actor Keith Allen. They live in the house where the alleged assault is said to have taken place at lunchtime. One Sun unnamed source said: “It was a family argument that got out of hand.

“Two police cars converged on the house with blue lights flashing. It was very dramatic.”

The Sun reports Allen has written lyrics over her brother's drug usage.

“My little brother’s in his bedroom smoking weed. I tell him he should get up cos it’s nearly half past three. He can’t be bothered cos he’s high on THC.”

The song also has the line: “Get off your lazy arse, Alfie, please use your brain.”

Alfie is currently starring in a movie called "Atonement" with Keira Knightley.

Lily told The Sun last night from Paris: “I love my family and I wish I had been there to help calm this situation down."
