And all those Websters and any other dictionary would have to be alterred. It sounds like she is 'from out of space'. By her standard we would only be able to use the word alien when we get a visit from someone else from her planet.

Consider the word 'alien' means EXACTLY 'of another country' and was in use long before Jules Verne wrote about going to the moon, I fail to see the harm in continuing to use it where it applies. But at least she didn't want to take the 'illegal' word out of the equation.

The irony of making the word Alien, Illegal is priceless! I wonder if she thought of that?

OMG we must ban the use of illegal and alien together, it might offend somebody!

We wouldn't want to send a message to people illegally living in this country that it is a criminal act would we?

After all immigrant implies legality. One thinks immigrant and Ellis Island comes to mind, not crossing the Rio Grande! Illegal immigrant, while a contradiction, is a better way to go.

No no no no no! We must eliminate the use of those words together because we've all seen Men in Black and KNOW that alien is a word that was only ever used to describe little green men!

Who does she represent? Last I checked illegal aliens can't vote. But she's afraid to offend them? Sounds like someone is getting ready for amnesty.
