Gwyneth Paltrow loves being a housewife - even though it is the "most difficult" job in the world.
The actress took a break after giving birth to daughter Apple, two, and son Moses, ten months, and says the last three years have been the best of her life.
Gwyneth told US chat show host Oprah Winfrey on Monday (26.02.07): "I've been at home being a housewife, which is amazing, and I've loved every second of it.
"Being a wife and mother is definitely the hardest job. It's 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and they want you present and real and connected and there - but it's been the best three years of my life.
"But I'm really looking forward to going back to work."
Gwyneth - who married Coldplay's Chris Martin in 2003 - is set to start work on 'Dirty Tricks', alongside her ex Brad Pitt, and 'Iron Man', with Robert Downey Jr.
Despite her self-imposed career break, Gwyneth has starred in 'The Good Night', 'Running with Scissors', 'Love and Other Disasters' and 'Infamous'.
