Sylvester Stallone has blamed his troubled love life on his naïve personality.
The 'Rocky Balboa' actor - who is now happily married to former model Jennifer Flavin - believes many of his previous relationships fell apart because he was emotionally immature.
He said: "A lot of my romantic troubles in the past were my own fault because I was too naïve and too trusting of certain women in my life. I was burned badly but I learned a lot about women in the process. Jennifer has made me much more mature."
Stallone - who was previously married to the actresses Sasha Czack and Brigitte Nielsen - also insists his new found maturity has made him a better father to his five children.
Stallone, 60, explained: "I make a much better husband and father now that I could have ever been earlier. You figure out it's not your work and success that counts. I sometimes think all men should wait until they are 50 to start a family and settle down."
