The former 'EastEnders' actress - who left the British soap three years ago - can't believe she has beaten a series of experienced US actresses to star in a US TV remake of hit series 'The Bionic Woman'.
Michelle told Britain's Hello magazine: "I still can't believe it's happening. The whole thing was quite surreal and I'm still pinching myself."
Michelle, 22, will play Jamie Sommers - a tennis player who is 're-built' with $50 million worth of bionic parts after being injured in a skydiving accident.
The role will see Michelle undergo a strict training regime including learning marital arts.
The actress said: "I hope that won't be too much of a stretch for me. I'm so excited!"
So far, only a pilot episode has been secured, but it is hoped a full series will follow.
