Much like the hundreds of rats that swarmed, coming out crawling looking for scraps in New York City yesterday, so too the myriad of Vickie Lynn Hogan's alleged "lovers" and assorted sexual tryst-ees are having each their 15 minutes. Enter lesbian Sandi Powledge of Houston, Texas, where Anna perfected the stripper pole boogey. Sandi says Anna and she were "tumultuous" lovers.
Cut to Anna Nicole Smith leaving the then two horse (okay, perhaps three) town of Houston to don Guess jeans and pose for Playboy.
Sandi claims Anna fell in love with her, and was her closest companion for three years.
Smith married a 89-year-old Houston oil tycoon, but prior to this, it was just Vickie and Sandi sitting in that tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g.
Sandi Powledge, 46, tells the Houston Chronicle that she and Anna, "met in a gay bar in northwest Harris County in 1991 and would become lovers."
"She was just hungry for love, hungry for approval, just like a bucket with a hole in the bottom," said Sandi to the Chronicle.
Powledge states she is grief-stricken over Anna's death.
"I feel a lot of guilt that I wasn't there," said a tearful Powledge to the Chronicle. "You think even though you don't talk, you can always have a time to make things right. ... You always think there's time.
Sandi tells the Chronicle it was Anna who pursued her. Allegedly Anna sent Sandi roses at work and kept ringing her up and asking her out.
According to the Chronicle, "Smith, then 23, showed up at Powledge's house in a working-class area on Aldine Westfield Road in a stretch limousine. She brought a change of clothes for Powledge to wear before they went to an upscale steak house on FM 1960."
Powledge contends that the two "exchanged vows of commitment on the diving board at Smith's home in Spring, and Smith gave Powledge a diamond ring."
According to the Chronicle, the two love birds got tattoos, got drunk together, and made sweet "considerate" love.
"She was very considerate. Very sweet. Very," she said bashfully when asked by the Chronicle how Anna "responded" physically to plain, old Sandi.

The article and Sandy's comments are completely true. I am a long-time acquiantance of Sandy's and was actually in the same bar when they met. Additionally, I lived next door to Sandy the day that Anna appeared in the white stretch limo, spent a few hours inside while her driver carried shopping bags in and then watched them leave for the evening. I have always known Sandy to be a good person and I believe, knowing how they were together, that she is grieving now.
