we were just talking about her at work...and michael jackson came to mind..so much fame so early.....some people just can't take it, and it looks like she is next....hopefully it doesn't get to her dangling her kids out windows for people to really accept that she is looney...and maybe there is help for her yet, but it looks like she is going thru a total melt down now...

I think I will take upon myself to rub her hot bald head and touch her naughty place until she is fully recovered.

if you had a friend or family member in complete meltdown, how would you feel if people were saying all these nasty things about them? So she's famous, who cares, she is still a person, who has been through hell and back and yes, maybe some of if was self-demise. She is still human, and death is not funny. So for all the assholes out there who feel the need to make bets, or joke about it - get a life, and I can't wait until you know someone who is in a bad situation, obviously you wouldn't have the maturity to deal with it. It is really sad to kick people when they are down, how many more cries for help do you need, before you take someone's hand to help them? Must be nice to make no mistakes and be a perfect model citizen, though i am sure if we delved into your life and made it headlines and rubbed it in your face, you wouldn't be happy about it. Whether or not people care or realize, she probably felt her kids were the only good thing she has in her life, and now those are with her ex, who right now is being shone in some overbearing spotlight as being this amazing supportive guy. Wasn't it just recently and over the past 2 years where he was the one hurting her everday, slowly breaking her down, being the lazy alcoholic, drugged up party animal? Nice that he is the good guy. Try not just being in a relationship where everything you do is useless, your man talks you down and has a wondering eye, and is living off of you, fighting with you constantly, add some post-partum depression, then finally feeling free, doing things you haven't before, not necessarily because you wanted to, but because you could. Then having some of it backfire, because too much of a good thing just isn't. Then having your ex who you know is a scumbag, being shone in this grace light, while you are being looked at like filth - when you are the one who had to endure and live with the bad side. Then having your mother support your scumbag of an ex, one of the only people you trusted aside from your kids, then have the jerk and your mother take away the kids, which were the only thing that mattered to you....then tell me how you would handle it.....must be nice to be the one to judge.

I also wondered if this was some kind of twisted publicity stunt that went horribly wrong.

And on that note, I have to wonder if some bean counters at her record label aren't getting ulcers yet.

Her PR machine has obviously been put on blocks in the front yard, y'all.

And wondered if she really is purposely trying to lose custody of her children.

For about a nanosecond I actually felt a little sorry for her. That made me throw up in my mouth a little.

Ultimately I wonder why society thinks that she is this tragic young thing. She has freaking privilege.

I now find the study of the reactions far more interesting than the antics.

Please, continue flinging manure at each other in her name.

Cranky Ol Batt,

You are funnier than you know what. Maybe not needed could borrow a page or two from your book. That part about throwing up in your mouth a little was classic.

Some of society feels bad for her, because sorry to tell ya, just because you have money doens't necessarily mean you have priviledge. It means you are given a some power, but not everyone knows how to handle that. How many of us can be given a bag of m&m's and not eat every last one? Sometimes the 'good' things aren't what they seem to be. Money will never ever buy happiness and you are a complete fool if you think it can. So you get some stuff.....but if money is all you have, then you have nothing. I would rather die poor with my amazing friends and family, then rich and alone. She thought that marriage was the right thing, but she learned a hard lesson there too. Pregnancy doesn't always mean you should stay together, it's nice to try, but you have to learn when to draw the line. I feel bad for her, because she had a lot of power and a lot of people trying to tell her what to do with it. When she indulged she couldn't handle it, not many can in the long run. She wanted to be normal and instead ended up with 2 washed up marriages, 2 children she is fighting to see - the only good and stable things in her life - complete media attention to every fault, every mistake. How are you able to ever be 'normal' when you have to deal with that? I bet you couldn't. So yes I feel sorry for her, i could put myself in her shoes and try to imagine dealing with it. I luckily have amazing support around me, but not everyone does, and not everyone knows how to accept it. Fake support is another thing and I am sure she's been duped by that plenty of times, and that probably helped her get where she is now.

Any real artist takes what life throws at them and uses it for fuel.Singer/Song writer. This is why GOD gave you the talent in the first place. You take this turmoil and use it to write the classic songs that are so absent from our world right now.But that is what an ARTIST does.CELEBRITIES have meltdowns/trainwrecks.

Artists become celebrities when the media hounds them so much, and usually because people are interested in them. They wouldn't go after them otherwise. Don't hate the celebs, hate the media that headlines them, or why don't you just hate their fanbase? Better yet, learn that hate is a very strong word and should not be used lightly. Dislike the arrogant people, not the ones breaking down. Just because she is going through this turmoil at the moment does not mean that she won't use it for creative purposes, she is still living it, still dealing with it. I'm sure she would like to have a normal life, with her creative talents, unfortunately her headline stealing ex husband started this spotlight on her, her PR people probably gave her some bad advice that backfired. When she gets through this, she will be a survivor and i am sure, a very different person. Right now she seems to be a very lost, a very hurt, and a very spotlighted individual. You don't have to like her, but give her a break.

Britney does not have talent. She had a good choreographer and looked good in tight clothing. That's it.

I wish her nothing but the worst. She has helped to corrupt an entire generation and made a fortune doing it.

Oh and just so you people know I watched the news this morning and Anna-Nicole is still dead!

She has talent, dancing isn't something that everyone can do, even with help. Also , have you ever taken time to listen to songs that weren't released on the radio? They actually have a meaning behind them, and almost every intro of hers in really pretty (instrumental). As for laughing at her shaved head, do you have a tendency to laugh at everyone with a shaved head, a lot of people are applauding her for doing it, because it shouldn't be about what you look like, and what you do with your everyday life, plus does that mean that you laugh at cancer patients, and those who shave their head for cancer research? What about those who shave their head just because they want to, they save the environment with less shampoo, conditioner and water, and save a lot of time when getting ready for the day. As for those who believe that her dressing has wrecked a whole generation - the only ones who will be 'wrecked' are the ones whose parents didn't stop them from dressing like that, for allowing their children to be that way and for bringing them up with no morals. Sorry that is not Britney's fault.
