Owen Wilson flew to Australia to surprise Kate Hudson on Valentine's Day.

The 'You, Me and Dupree' co-stars - who insist they are not a couple - spent the weekend at the Gold Coast's Palazzo Versace hotel.

They were seen riding bicycles in Southport and attended a pre-screening of Kate's film 'Fool's Gold' at the Pacific Fair cinema.

A source told Australia's Daily Telegraph newspaper: "They walked hand-in-hand to the back door of the cinema but leapt apart and headed for separate doors when they realised a photographer was present."

Owen allegedly pushed a photographer twice to avoid being pictured as he left the cinema.

One fan, Jemima O'Neill, said: "We were going to ask him for a photograph but when we saw him trying to ram the photographer we were too scared.

"We had been waiting for nearly two hours, but he was so angry we thought there is no way we are going to ask him for a photograph."

Kate and Owen met on set of 'You, me and Dupree'.

Kate filed for divorce from her rock star husband Chris Robinson last August. The couple have a three-year-old son, Ryder.
