Britney Spears shaved her hair off, and got some tattoos yesterday.
Making a balding debut at a tattoo parlor in Sherman Oaks, California on Friday night, Britney stuck around for a half-hour to get a new tattoo of a pair of red lips on her wrist, and a cross on her hip before throwing on a hoodie and hitting the road.
CNN reports the poplette has done a drastic 180, and shed her locks for unknown reasons. They posted video and photos on the air showing the bizarre transformation.
"She wasn't making sense at all and you could tell she's not in a good place at all, and that she is totally freaking out," reveals Emily Wynne-Hughes, an employee at Body & Soul, the Sherman Oaks tattoo parlor where Britney got a black-white-and-pink cross tattooed on her lower hip and red-and-pink lips on her wrist.
Hughes tells Us Weekly, "She was a nightmare to deal with. She was screaming and flipping out from the pain and wiggling her body all around."
At one point during Britney's one-hour visit, Hughes asked Britney why there was a pink stain on her fluffy white handbag and Britney said she had "spilled Nyquil all over it."
Spears is unraveling, and it has allegedly made Madonna jump into action, she was reported by Perez Hilton to be leaving London on a non-stop to Los Angeles to help Britney through this breakdown.
When asked why she shaved her head, Hughes says Britney replied, "I don't want anyone touching me. I'm tired of everybody touching me." reported Us Weekly.
Everyone at the tattoo parlor was shocked by Spears bizarre behavior.
Hughes, who was appalled and concerned by what she saw, adds, "After she left the shop we all just looked around and said to each other, 'We just saw a huge celebrity on the verge of a nervous breakdown.'"

is brittany 'crazy'?
I once thought that BS was just a teenage marketing diva. Now I see her has a complex and richly textured person who is unafraid to ignore the massive societal pressures of celebrity. Not since John Lennon has an artist been such a social non-conformist. Anyone who can freakout a tatoo parlor is aces in my eyes. You go, girl!
Aren't there laws or at the very least a code of ethics for tattoo artists not to tattoo someone who they suspect may be intoxicated with drugs/alcohol or visibly mentally unstable?
This is the only cool thing she's ever done!
She doesnt show much class in my book. I figure she just wants attention. If she thinks she is 'sexy' I think she needs to think again. Yeah, Geeze, you're right. It takes a friggin genius to lose your mind and leave your kids at home 7 nights a week. If only she and Paris would get together to write some music, we'd have another Abby Road on our hands.

My theory.... She's basically, just a girl with some talents.. What happens when you give a fairly normal teenage girl 50 million dollars and no rules? If you think about it, she's worth about 50 million isn't she? Can have anything she wants, with the exception of privacy. I think with all that fame and money it fried her brain. Keep giving any person too much attention and money and praise and what happens? THIS! Ok, so it's just a theory, but I feel like I couldn't be too far off. She needs to be brought back to earth.
And if it's not the money, then it must be the fame and she needs a break. I remember the original Britney when she first came out. That was nice and is the reason so many people liked her and bought her records. But this is just plain too weird. I guess she needs help of some kind.
I don't think anyone who hasn't experienced fame directly can imagine how used up this girl must feel. Her every move is judged and she can't even know who her real 'friends' are, with everyone wanting a piece of her limelight - the people that really care about her are trying to help but she doesn't know who to trust. Sad. Too much, too soon - she never had the chance to mature and develop the hide she would need to cope with her fame.
She probably just had head lice, and didn't want to pass on those nasty little nits to her babies... hence the shaved head.
Or maybe she was just upset that a dead stripper is making more headlines than she is?

Well, well, well...what else is new with the pathetic slut...It just goes to show that if any kid or idiot who has too much money, fame or supposed power to think that she or he can go out and do anything she wants that her stupid and idiotic fans will always be there to support and defend her, no matter what stupid things that she does to gain publicity and attention. First she had the loser timberlake( or whatever the hell his name is) a poser and a wannabe rapper K-suck and now she goes and gets her damn head shaved. I now think that she has two areas on her body where she is shaved as it will be a matter of time when she goes out in public nude and shows everyone what she has. How damn sad that all of her fans are so stupid to make excuses and defend her for her stupidity as they are just allowing her to fall into a deep pit where she will spiral out of control and eventually burn herself out. She would have more talent being a porn star than a musician or a actress as she seems to know only one thing..getting laid by every man that she can get to pay attention to her. Everyone is happy now.........Britney is beyond out of control. She has hit rock bottom! Who is to blame? WE ARE! Britney Spears is obviously going through some kind of breakdown and it's my guess that it's PPD, Post Partum Depression. Think about it. She had two babies back to back, is going through a divorce and has paparazzi following her literally everywhere. She does need help. I wonder if her family has even thought of PPD or if they're just worried that their cash cow is stuck in manure.

Jennifer it doesn't matter! Within 24 to 48 hours Britney will have done something more star-crazed to get attention for her fame or insanity, whichever. There's gonna be a gigantic amount of coverage given to the Anna Nicole Smith - 'body & baby' trial showdown tomorrow in Florida........Larry Birkhead, Howard K Stern & Anna's Momma. I'm really overwhelmed by Britney Spears audacious act.She not only showed that how far a woman can go but also showed how wonderful she looks.She is already a very beautiful woman and she looks even beautiful more when she shaved her head.I'ts not easy for such a famous woman to shave her head.It requires oodles of courage to face a sea of critics.She seemed determined to sport the bald look even when the beauty salon refused to shave her.It is considered a woman's beauty lies in her hair.Again she proved everyone wrong.She has been in a lot of emotional stress lately and she has come back strongly.Every woman must learn something from her.I suggest she shave her head clean with lather and go on with her singing routine.Britney we love you for shaving your head and showing everyone that even a bald woman can look stunningly beautiful.

She is way messed up. I'm scared for her kids. They need to be placed with someone who is not their parents, because then maybe they'll have a chance.
