Drew's stable love wish
Feb 17, 2007, 12:00 GMT
Drew Barrymore would choose a stable relationship over a successful career.
The 'Music and Lyrics' actress - who recently split from her lover of five years The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti - insists she finds romance more fulfilling than professional success.
She said: "My work means so much to me but what's the most important is having someone to go home to at the end of the day, someone you can share everything with."
The twice-married actress is adamant her latest split has made her stronger as a person.
She explained: "I am independent now and it feels exciting. Something has shifted in me and I feel like a woman at last. It's magical and I want to indulge in it. There's a lot of light in my life right now and it's not always been that way."
Drew, 31, was married to club owner Jeremy Thomas for 19 days in 1994.
In 2001, she tied the knot with comedian Tom Green, but their union ended a year later.
