David Beckham says he will never be an actor, despite moving to Los Angeles.
News of David's multi-million pound transfer to the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team last month sparked widespread anticipation he was planning to conquer Hollywood. That was until everyone heard him speak. His thin voice is an issue.
But David insists he has no plans to become an actor.
Promoting 'Goal 2' - in which he stars as himself - David said: "I just had to act naturally in this movie. It would be very difficult to be part of a film because I am not an actor and I never will be."
Since announcing their move to Los Angeles, David, 31, and wife Victoria, 32, have already taken steps to raise their profile in the US, making public appearances and attracting hoards of paparazzi.
Fashion designer Giorgio Armani, who is a close friend of the Beckhams, wrongly predicted last month: "He has done the right thing by moving. And I think he wants to be an actor, not a soccer player."
