rolling my eyesFeb,

There will be???

Is this your religious belief?

The same religion that supported and justified slavery, bans on interracial marriage, discrimmination against Jews, wars, and murder?

Oh I see. Good luck with that.

PS
I live in a Democracy NOT in a Theocracy - why don't you move to Iran where religious leaders run things.

Proud to be a homophobic.Feb 15th, 2007 - 19:39:58

This is still a FREE country. If we are going to preach tolerance than folks need to be tolerant of the intolerant. If TH hates fags that is his choice and he is ALLOWED to. So all you gays just need to get over it and understand that not everyone is going to except you or your nasty lifestyle. What next you gonna want people to except child molesters and those who have sex with animals, I bet the animal rights folks would pitch a fit. Its nice to see someone be HONEST about what they think and feel, to bad you Hetrophobic's cant handle it. Way to go Tim.

Proud homophobic.

Proud to be a homophobic,

38% of all heterosexual males engage in anal intercourse with women according to a recent study.

Heterosexual males are the people that rape women and molest little girls.

Gay people are humans not animals.

Tolerance of the KKK and the radical relgious right that bashes gays is not 'diversity'.

Evil is evil - and the KKK and radical religious right wingers that bash gays [and used to bash blacks and hispanics - in fact they still do sometimes].

By preaching tolerance of those who are intolerant you turn the whoile concept upside down and tolerance loses all meaning.

Just because gay people push back against people that lie and demonize them does not make them intolerant - its called self-respect.

'there will be' meant that when the Militia Etheridge crowd has their way it WILL be a crime to think certian ways.

To hate gays is not and never should be a crime, to assault someone simply because they are gay already is a crime (and last I checked MORE of a crime than assaulting a hetersexual because of hate crime laws).

like gays is not a phobia. It's called freedom to feel OK about not liking gays.

rolling my eyes,

Of course not - I agree - it should never be a crime to hate anyone - nor will it ever be one. It can a crime or at least illegal to discrimminate against people - based on their religion, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc.

The religious right wingers like anti-discrimmination laws when it comes to them and their religious beliefs. They have those laws in place on the federal level - gays don't. So a person's belief system [religion] is protected - not to mention tax exempt status - but a person is not protected based on their biology [gay].

Here is a warning - the religious right wing organizations claim that thought control is next because there are laws protecting gays. Nothing could be further from the truth.

If anything the religious right wing has imposed thought control on other members of society.

The religious right wing organizations use the gay issue to rally their members, obtain donations from them, and increase membership and power.

WTF people!

Homosexual is homo(same) + sexual(duh) = sex with the same.
Homophobic is homo(same) + phobic(fear) = fear of the same.

Homophobic DOES NOT MEAN FEARING GAY PEOPLE!

Whoever came up with the word needs to relearn the English language, same with all who use the word!

The bottom line is the radical religious right organizations in the US try to divide people and spread hate.

They can not use blacks anymore to spread hate and fear so they use gays.

It rallies their base, increases membership, and gives them more power and clout.

We all need to get along and respect one another. We are all Americans - do not let religious right wingers divide our Country.

Take a stand.

I just love the arrogance of some of the so-called 'straight' male posters who take all of this issue with the idea of showering in the presence of a gay man. The underlying assumption is that EVERY gay man on the planet would find YOU attractive. Believe me when I tell you that gay men absolutley, positively do not get turned on by every 'guy' they see, be they nude or not. That's ego talking to patently assume that one would be the object of lust for an entire group of people by default. With the millions of handsome gay men on the planet, why on earth would one assume that any gay man would be preoccupied with being intimate with a homophobic, narrow-minded straight man? It just makes no sense to me at all and calls to mind the line from Hamlet, 'Methinks thou doth protest too much...'

CN - Sounds to me like the one with the chip on his shoulder is you. Take a stand? I'm taking a stand against teaching my 5yr old stepson that Adam and Steve is fine and dandy. Sorry but I want him to make up his own mind like my 18yr old gay stepson did.
Equal rights? You have the same rights that I do! I can be fired by a gay boss for being straight, I was refused employment once because I applied to a shop where everyone was gay! Should I have been able to sue? If you were there wouldn't you have been glad I wasn't hired?
Sorry but Gay Rights are special rights because they would give special consideration to your sexuality that would not be given to mine.

rolling my eyesFeb,

Yes - you should have had the right to sue. Why should you be denied a job because you are heterosexual?

You are correct - sexual orientation discrimmination applies to both straight and gay people. It just so happens that gay people are the ones discrimminated against much more because of their sexual orientation - its called being a minority.

As far as kids go - like I said I don't think sex should be part of kid's education.

However, sexual orientation is detemined in the Mother's womb during pregnancy - so how can someone 'make' someone eles gay???

You either respect scientific facts or you don't. You don't or you are just ignorant of those facts. This is not politics - its science.

Do I have a chip on my shoulder? I don't know - but I do know I am sick of misinformation, sterotypes, and lies.

If 'gayness' is biological and they don't reproduce why are there so many of them?
Probably because they tried to be straight and start families under pressure from society.
Maybe society's growing acceptance (compared to 20 years ago) is a good thing. Let them be gay and leave women alone, maybe we'll weed out the gay gene.

I was gonna keep my mouth shut but at this point... why?

I had rough sex with Tim Hardaway behind a sports bar,
approximately 3 weeks after his final game.

He was a very angry man then too.
He seemed very jealous.
I think it was because he felt that he wasn't free to be himself and I was?

What the hell does loving another human being that happens to be of the same gender do to cause so much hatred? Absolutely nothing. Direct it toward people who hurt others, not someone who probably wouldn't care to sleep with you bunch of ignorent homophobes. Go read a book or try ANYTHING to raise your level of awareness about the world around you. Ask the clerk for a B-O-O-K. Morons...
