All you people who chose NOT to be gay, tell me about it. How did that process work for you? Was it a tough choice? Was there turmoil? Did you experiment with both sides so you could make an educated choice?

A study of gay sheep appears to confirm the controversial suggestion that there is a biological basis for sexual preference.
The work shows that rams that prefer male sexual partners had small but distinct differences in a part of the brain called the hypothalamus, when compared with rams that preferred to mate with ewes.
Kay Larkin and colleagues from Oregon Health and Science University found the difference was in a particular region of the hypothalamus - the preoptic nucleus. The region is generally almost twice as large in rams as in ewes. But in gay rams its size was almost identical to that in 'straight' females.
The hypothalamus is known to control sex hormone release and many types of sexual behaviour. Several other parts of the hypothalamus showed consistent sex differences in size, but only this specific region showed differences that correlated with sexual preference.
The differences are almost identical to those identified by the neuroscientist Simon LeVay in his studies of the brains of gay men. His work has always been considered controversial, partly because the brains he studied were mostly from men who had died of AIDS. So it was not clear whether the differences were related to the disease or to sexual preferences.
Anybody can say people who hates gays are a low form of life, Big fing deal I care less that doesn't change that fact gays shouldn't be accepted into society.

next. why do alot of men think that every gay guy would want them? i work with alot of gay men/women and none of the men have ever come on to me or any of the other straight guys/gals. i think thou doth protest to much.
Finally someone who has the guts to what they feel! I'm just sorry that he apologized so quickly. I don't accept gays either. Why are we always made to feel that we HAVE to accept something we don't believe in? Everyone is entitled to thier own opinions and beliefs. Gays should stop shoving thier homosexuality down our throats. Some of us don't like you, don't believe in it and are appalled by it. GET OVER IT and let the rest of us live normal heterosexual lives!

I don't want to tell people how to think, but he has a point in people standing up against discrimination, gay marriage is a civil rights issue and people can hate all they want, I just think they should not try and legislate their hate with laws. And for those agruments who speak of the sanctity of marriage, call it something else, or get rid of the legal benefits of hetrosexual marriage( tax breaks, Health insurance)

Wrong, both semantically or empirically. The genetic event that results in sexual preference, is only an amino bump away from the configuration creating a sexual preference for children. Unpopular truth for sure, but scientifically/biologically irrevocable. Start your reading with, 'The Double Helix' (by Crick and Watson) and continue from there. BTW, my writings here are not meant to reinforce hate towards any human. There are two types of homosexuals: genetically predetermined, and liberal heterophobes from the east and west coast... :-) sorry, couldn't help that one!

I tolerate gays but that's it. I don't hate them but I can understand why people do.

The thing that really gets me about some straight guys - the ones who dislike gays the most in our society - is the fact that they LOVE seeing two women sucking on each other.
I told a straight friend of mine a while back - I never want to hear a straight guy talk about badly about gays - friggin' hypocrites.

My previous comment refered to the organized 'Diversity' movement. The ones who want to teach kids in kindergarten that being gay is normal. Sorry but that is indoctrination no matter how you slice it. It may be normal for you but not for the majority. Let them find out for themselves as you did, no need to shove it down their throats.
