Beyoncé's dad's bikini snub

Beyoncé Knowles' father refused to watch her pose in a skimpy bikini for Sports Illustrated magazine.
The singer - who was terrified about appearing on the cover of the magazine's famous annual swimsuit issue - has revealed her father Matthew, who is also her manager, couldn't bear to see her pose in revealing beachwear.
Beyoncé said: "Kelly Rowland showed up. My mom was there, so was my nephew. Dad was going to come, but he said, 'Well, I'll meet you in Orlando after the shoot. I'm not so sure that I want to see this. All my blessings - you're a big girl. But I'm not so sure I want to see it.' "
Beyoncé - who is following in the footsteps of Elle Macpherson, Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks by posing in a swimsuit for the magazine - embarked on a strict diet to prepare for the shoot.
She said: "I had to watch what I ate, which was tough because the shoot was right after Thanksgiving. At dinner, I kept thinking, 'This extra piece of pie will show up.'
"I always make sure I celebrate it up, but I was so terrified with every little thing I ate this year.
"The shoot took a lot of guts. I'm a really shy person. Everyday I play a character and I had to tap into that."
The 25-year-old singer-and-actress is proud of the photographs and can't wait to show them to her children - when she has them.
Beyoncé said: "These are photographs I can show my kids some day. I can say, 'See, momma was beautiful. Look how good I looked!' " (C) BANG Media International

'This shoot took a lot of guts', says Beyonce. Yeah, right! Like a swim suit shoot would be more revealing than the stuff she wears going to the awards shows. Who's she kidding? She's a product and she'll wear (or not wear) whatever they tell her to to rake in the bucks. Her mom and dad are just pimping her around.

This girl will do anything for fame and fortune and call it good. My whole youth group (2000 kids) broke our CD's of hers and then burned them in a bonfire.

Your story about your 'youth group' burning CDs brought some images to mind of other 'youth groups' in history. They didn't, by any chance, sport brown shirts and point to the sky with 4 fingers while they were dancing around the fire, did they?
PS - burning plastic is very toxic and can cause sterility and loss of brain cells. Keep it up!

This is a joke. She looks like a dog as I do not think that she is beautiful at all. I have not seen the photo, heard any of her songs or I do not even care who she is at all. In my opinion, I do not think that she has any talent singing, dancing, modelling, or even looks good in photographs. Anyone who thinks that she is a role model or a good influence is just as dumb and stupid as she is as if she passed me on the street, I would not even know who she is. He idiotic and talentless goofball she hangs with Jay-z or (wannabe) is no better as his rap music makes me want to puke and he is a joke. I hope that these two losers do get together as I do not give a rat's a** what they do as if they have any children they will be crosseyed and talentless. She makes me wanna puke and I would never want to see her in a bikini or naked as she has a fat butt and she has a face of a bow-wow. I feel like I have to take her for a walk or throw her a dog bone.
she is not worth the publicity or the time of day as she contributes nothing worthwhile or meaningful to society.
Anyone who likes her is just as sad and pathetic as she is and who ever has purchased anything she endorses or her music deserves to be kicked in the head.
