Jamie Foxx paid a $1,500 tip for just a few drinks because he was attracted to the waitress.
The Oscar-winning actor called into Los Angeles nightclub Les Deux with some friends for a quick drink, but when the waitress had trouble reading what he'd written as a tip, he told her to write in whatever she wanted.
A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "Jamie called for the cheque after just a few drinks.
"When he signed the bill the waitress peered at it and said politely, 'I'm sorry I can't read what you added as a tip. What does it say?'
"He grinned at her and said, 'What do you want it to say? Write in your own tip!'
"She definitely thought he was joking but she played along and said, 'So, if I added a zero it would be OK?'
"When he nodded she said, 'And if I added a one it's OK?' "
Foxx said: "Whatever you want."
The waitress smiled and wrote in a tip for $1,500, and was left stunned when the 'Dreamgirls' actor let her debit his credit card including the huge tip.
The source added: "She was nearly in tears as she thanked him."
