Anna Nicole Smith's family statements

Anna Nicole Smith's first cousin, Theresa Harrison, gave a statement to TMZ.com about the family's reaction to Anna's death.
"I have spoken with Anna's mom and aunt, and we are very worried about her baby. We hope that she has a better chance at life than her mom did. Anna had a very rough life."
Phoenix Books and Audio website, publisher for Donna Hogan, Anna Nicole's sister. published her statement:
"On behalf of the Hogan Family, we are saddened and heartbroken by my sister's death. No matter what our differences have been over the years, Anna was still our blood and she will be missed terribly. She was a woman who was determined to get out of her small town in Texas and make a name for herself.
She became an international star and she was a good mother to Daniel; there is no doubt that her son loved her. They lived out of each other's pockets while he was alive and now they can finally be together again in Heaven.
We feel that the death of her son left her deeply saddened, a sadness she hid from everyone. As a mother of three children, I am anguished by this tragic event and the fact that her new baby daughter Dannielynn Hope is now without a mother."

I think that this is a tragic end to a young life. Anna may not have lived the way most of us do, but she was human. Lets think about her baby now. I believe that Howard is this baby's father just based on the photos that have been shown with the two of them together. I believe that dannielynn looks ALOT like Howard. I think that this Larry guy needs to let it go and move on. Obviously Anna did not share the feelings that he says she did or she wouldnt have 'married' her attorney. I hope that Anna is at peace now with Daniel and that Howard is able to move on raising their daughter.
Everyone needs to chill out. The truth will come out. All that matters is that the baby is safe and grows up loved. Everyone needs to stop pointing fingers. Anna Nicole was what she was...lived as she lived. Underneath it all she was a person like everyone else. No one seems to be grieving for her. She deserves at least a minute of respect. All this nonsense is about money. Very sad.
I don't normally get into these discussions, but I'm very upset with Anna Nicole's mother and sibilings. Less than 24 hours after her death her mother(whom she HATED) is trying to get her hands on Danielynn. Who does this woman think she is? She has barely even cried over the death of her child. Every interview I see is her pointing fingers (no tears) at Howard K. Stern. Anna Nicole did what she wanted. Howard had no control. Anna's mother only wants the money! Respect your daughters wishes and leave her, Howard, and Danielynn alone. Let her rest in peace she deserves it!
wait a min...don't jump a gun at all of her family. you forgot that is her only family that she did ban them. Anna shouldn't been obbession with past. okay why were she still talking to her mother while growing up? once she hit the jack pot, she change and thinking only to herself. she is only center of atteantion. she hang around wrong people in her life.

Anna does love her mother that the truth but she have to do it on the TV nation to whole world that she hate her mom. well think again Howard was there all the time and rubbing on her arms all that stuff.
Don't believe all that stuff that comes out of Anna's mouth. she may lying through her teeth to make a fame of herself to picture bigger news. it all about money and media she knew very well around to it. she collect and pick up money. she didn't lift a finger to help her whole family who were living on low salary. if she did help things would be different story. Howard Stern will not be in picture if Anna still tight knit family. she and Daniel would be alive. picture this if they all have christmas family together instead of strangers of friends. Daniel would have rode his dirt bike with all of his cousins. but no it doesn't happen because Anna want to be in her ways only. it all about her all the time. I disagree with the way Anna play this kind of life this way. Poor Daniel, He was there for her and that Howard Stern isn't Daniel's cup of tea. so Larry Birkhead is a two face. how come? well he was at the court and he was still talking to Vergie {Anna's mother} and once Larry found out that he is the father, the whole picture has change. He stop spoke to Vergie. Larry only do what Howard Stern tell him what to do and how to raise Dannielynn and what more Howard Stern still access Anna's estate. well Larry Birkhead is wrong. He shouldn't play two games at the same time. Larry should talk to Vergie and get to know her more and maybe things will be better because when you get older and wiser, people do change when they get older. so Vergie does change. she lost her grandson Daniel smith and daugther Vicky Lynn Hogan. Howard Stern doesn't even speak very much about Daniel but mostly Anna, but Howard isn't really a family thing compare to Vergie. all I can say you people shouldn't pin on Vergie because it like a blaming a witch in 1500's. well you blaming all wrong because you don't personally knew them.

The family has stated their feelings. What of the infant? Who will embrace and raise this child? So much has been in controversy and in the media.
Let the father step forward and be granted his child. Stay in close contact with the Hogan dise of the family in order to complete the circle of life. Remember - it is about the development and connection for the baby.
