Jodie Foster's cell phone smackdown

Jodie Foster learned the hard way not to mess with the Feds at Los Angeles International Airport.

Oscar winner and all around good egg, that's even the name of her production company, "Egg Pictures"   Foster's reputation with Oscar-winning portrayals of a rape victim in 1988 "The Accused" and as a rookie FBI agent in 1991 Jonathan Demme's psychological thriller, sealed her place as an acting great.  

For her 1991 directorial debut "Little Man Tate" Foster used her own background for the story of a child prodigy who is caught in a tug-of-war between his working-class mother and his teacher.

Jodie is smart, but apparently doesn't play well with authority figures. 

No one is allowed to use their cell phone when passing through immigration. Foster recently returned from a trip to Turks and Caicos, according to Page Six, when she started yakking away on her cell in the immigration line at LAX.

Allegedly a guard asked her to stop, which she did, but got right back on the cell when the guard turned his back.

Foster, according to Page Six, got a lashing from the Fed who "literally screamed at her and threatened to take her out of line" – and had to be patrolled the whole way in to make sure she didn't break the rule again.
