Katie Holmes fluffs in Harper's interview

By Stone Martindale Feb 3, 2007, 1:54 GMT

Katie Holmes is totally happy, in love and ready to act again.

Defamer.com neatly summarized it for Katie Cruise, stating Holmes "having satisfactorily completed the Celebrity Centre's rigorous, ten-week "My Life Is Grreat And I Am As Madly In Love As The Day I Signed My Contract: Level VII Post-Betrothal Communications" course, Scientology war bride Katie Holmes is being slowly reintroduced to the public, giving her first interview as Mrs. Tom Cruise to Harper's Bazaar":

"I have a husband and children that I adore. I have a career that I really love. When I sit back and reflect, it's - wow!" Holmes, 28, says in the March issue of Harper's Bazaar.

"I am very grateful. Tom makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and has since the day I met him. I love being with him. I love calling him husband."

Defamer continued its fun poking, stating "after a handful of thetan-clearing taser jolts administered by her hovering handler" Holmes was able to continue her "revealing" interview fluff fest with Harpers.

Why does the media insist on belittling a woman who seems to be quite kind, thoughtful and happy? Our world has become a very strange place. We hang on the escapades of stars who party late into the night and rip apart a woman who genuinely seems to love her husband and child, leads a sweet and fulfilling life and and beams with happiness.

I completely agree with Rochelle. Though, I too, have enjoyed poking fun at Tom and Katie, I actually think they make a pretty good couple. They really do seem in love, and Katie seems very happy.

I'm glad that they're doing well. I hate the media when they brainwash people into thinking that there is something wrong with Tom and Katie. We're not in the 19th century anymore; If Katie was unhappy, I'm sure she would have left the relationship long time ago. It's not like she is a stupid girl. Also, people should be able to choose their religion without having to be harassed every 15 seconds. But what do I know, I just so happen to believe in human rights.

Totally agree with Rochelle. Angelina & Brad aren't married and they aren't ripped apart to the degree the media bag on Tom & Katie. But the Defamer is one of the lowest regarded reporting outlets in existence. After reading one of their articles, you feel like you've just been slimed. I used to think a little more highly of M&C than being a slimer.

Funny you mention the word brainwashing and refer to the media rather than the cult that she was pulled into.

As for believing in human rights, google Lisa McPherson and Scientology and read all about the fantastic human rights record they have.

Idiots. All of you.

While I admit communicating with Katie and Tom telepathically I should not be held accountable for what they have relayed to me. I think of them often and at times...excuse me.... Katie, Tom please tune out while I write this comment...

Anyway I am very concerned with the brain waves coming from them. My life is so boring and too diddicult for me to face so I need to distract myself from my own inner thoughts by focussing in on the rich and famous. I never admit to myself that all media is a manipulation of the fact. I spend all my time writing comments and debating with other lost souls in chat rooms and comment boards on celebrity websties and such

I am a complete loser.

Psychiatry sure didn't help Shaina Dunkle, who died in her parent's arms of a heart attack caused by prescribed psychiatric drugs. Here is a long list of psychiatric drug related murders, suicides, deaths and violence. http://www.ssristories.com/index.php. Why are these people dead psychiatry?

As an *actual* TomKat fan, I am happy for them and glad that they choose drug-free spritual assistance through their church over chemical dependency.

Katie... oops, KATE Holmes Cruise: 'I have a career that I really love.' What career? Supposely, she's turned down movie offers to play wife and mother for Cruise. If you asked people on the street what she's best known for, I think you'd be lucky if people could even name 'Dawson's Creek'.

Catholicism is a cult. Evangelicalism is a cult. Look into the weird stuff those people believe and do. Is Scientology a cult? *Yawn* So what? There are millions more who believe that some guy in white robes with a beard knows if they have been bad or good.

Look for your free spirit, you know the one you had when as a child you jumped up and down on your bed. You were free, ''wee, look at me, I'm flying, I'm free'. Have you lost it, you know the free, wee look at me, I'm free spirit of ole. If you still had your innocence you would understand that jumping up and down, yes even on a couch while millions watch, was the innocent, joyous expression spirit of one who is free to be free in spirit. Get it, if not, get it anyway. They are happy and so are their children. Oh my gosh, whatever could I be saying. Try it if you can or find out where you lost it and go and get it back 'cause you were robbed of it when very young you didn't have a chance to protect it 'cause you didn't understand. Now you can, so do it. Do it now. Then you can be happy for others who are happy. What a thought. A world were people are happy for happy people.

I doubt any Scientologists spend time with the mentally disabled. Psychiatry helps people! You don't spend time with people with autism, downs syndrome, cerebral palsy etc. You don't know crud! Neither did L. Ron Hubbard. If he was 'a friend of man kind' why didn't he help the sick, feed the homless, give the naked clothes? Auditing is one big joke!... If it wasn't hyponisis then why arn't there blind people just waiting to use it? If it really works?...
Some people do need meds, this is by no means drug abuse. Also this is a 'human right' and shouldn't be talken away from them! Tom Cruise doesn't know crap about AUTISM, but the jerk did a movie called 'Rainman'. If he was agianst Psychiatry then in 1988, why didn't he speak out about it?... He became a Scientologist in 1986... so he's a fraud! Tom Cruise is more in love with Scientology than Katie. He was married to it, more than Nicole Kidman. I can wish them both well but nothing is good enough for Tom. The little Punk who thinks he knows everything! If Scientology wants a world without war, so much how come they are willing to but into other peoples business and proclaim themselves 'all knowing' about mental health?... It's a war againt Psychiatry people arn't as doubt as you think. But L. Ron though so. Good luck and peace.

Check out what these foster children had to say about how much psychiatry's medications 'helped' them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=al2UfX7kycM

It's a horrible person who would force children to endure such torture in the name of help. The children who survive finally speak for themselves...

And what about all these people whose lives have turned to living hell thanks to Paxil? http://www.PetitionOnline.com/R14z9

Tom Cruise was right, no matter which way you slice it.

Scientologist are defenceless, as the media is controlled by the Judeo-Christian mob that will attack anyone that is not one of them. So the only time that Scientology will be able to do something about it is if they start to increase there control of the media. Until then they are a sitting duck.

At this point, who cares what Katie's doing with her life? If she wants to shill for , fine. There are still some deluded types out there that'll gladly hand over their money and life to this cult. So let her have her fun. While she's involved with Tom and his captors, she won't have to deal with how the other members are treated. After all, she married money, and that speaks loudest. Screw them both and their pseudo-religion.

For someone who doesn't give a damn about her, you sure have a lot to say. At least she's not advocating religious hatred wherever she goes, like you are. Thank god people like you don't get to decide what is or isn't deluded. We'd still be living in the dark ages.
