I wish I was black so I could get affirmative action and special treatment.
Brandy kills.
you know...It is amazing how the word and the fact that someone is black is thrown around to get away with things. I understand this was an accident and that should be Brandy's defense (unless she was talking on the phone or doing her make up) but the 'being black' defense should not be included in that. Leave the racial issues out just focus on what exactly happened. Maybe the police did misjudge who was to blame for the accident but that happens with 'white' people too (maybe misjudged from an African american cop), and you don't hear anyone accusing the police that 'they accused me because I was WHITE.' People should just focus on the truth not turn this into a stupid political, racial issue. SOMEONE DIED, some children lost their mother, what does politics and race have anything to do with it...!!!
i see dead people
I wish I was blacker so I could get special treatment too.
i didn't think there was any black leaders left in L.A. i thought it was all latino's.Then second of all i don't want ANY help from a muslium. If that would have been mel gibson people would have been calling 'hang that jew hating racist white millionaire'.black people need to get up,get educated, and get civilized.there is a reason 75% of the prison population is black, and it's not because the system is racist, there's a reason africa didn't have a written language till the white man came along, for the same reason the majority of unemployed are black and on goverment asst. programs.People need to get off the
'i need help because i'm black,my family were slaves 4 generations ago, and i can't help myself, the goverment should take care of me because i'm a victim of oppression.'---GET REAL,GET UP,GET A JOB,
blacker?
Being so black that your purple is awesome ... where the white women at.
Since when did not paying attention to the road become an 'accident'? Brandy hit the back of another car becuase she was not paying attention to the road, who cares what the reason is, she should be brought to justice and thrown in jail and be held accountable for not paying attention to the road. Her inability to watch traffic in front of her caused the deth of a mother, I don't care what race you are and I am sick to deth of hearing how unfair it is. How fair is it that the young children now have to grow up without a mum, that her life was cut short becuase of some idiot not watching the road. This is no accident folks, this is manslaughter in the fullest extent.
If that person was doing everything they are suppose to do while driving, then yes.
But let the evidence and the law determine that, not us. We weren't there, we don't have all the facts.
I am not saying she should go clean as a whistle, but let the punishment fit the crime. Intent and negligence is the key here.
It does not surprise me that they are trying to get her out of taking responsibility for killing someone. I mean after all she did Kill someone. Does that not mean anything to anyone anymore? If she gets off on these charges she is no better than the common murderer. Why is that when you have fame and money you don't have to own up to your responsibilities. What is this world coming to
johnson, intent and negligence go to different crimes.
I keep seeing the word 'accident', but that is not the claim here. Hitting a stopped car from behind at 45 mph is not an 'accident', it's negligence; hence the manslaughter charge.
I agree she should not be unfairly targeted, and I do not believe she is. Under the law, she is to be filed with the charges set forth, as with any resident arrested on the same count. The judge and/or jury will decide her fate.
Celebrities are people too, and they make bad decisions, and those decisions have consequences. The difference being, she's has the opportunity to positively impact those who idolize her by letting them see no one is above the law and driving is a privilige and a responsibility.
Is there anyone out there that believes that a black celebrity will be treated the same as the rest of us.If you do your nuts.
This legal consequences of this vehicular homicide should not be blames on race.
The law should be applied fairly whether one is black or white. I can only hope that the jury will weigh all the evidences.
I don't recall reading that she was stopped.
If she was stopped, where was she stopped, in a travel lane.
The police said Brandy was traveling 65 at the time of the accident. That is legal speed for the highway where I live.
I have a good friend who had a similar accident happen--never had a traffic ticket in his life, first one was a tragedy. First, nobody does jail time for an offense like Brandy's (short of being under the influence). Second, and understandably, he has been crushed by this event--as is his wife. Finally, and most importantly, there is a grieving family that is missing a loved one.
Brandy's tragic accident has left two families jurt and grieving. However, this tragedy would not have occurred if we would just deport all the illegals. Andale, andale.
She must have hit rear of the at 60 MPH to knock it into another lane. Was she distracted?
You people are hysterical. Like Kremer when he's not doing Seinfeld.
