Harry Connick Jr. fights for NOLA

Harry Connick Jr. isn't taking the destruction of his hometown of New Orleans lying down. He's fighting back through touring, rebuilding with Habitat for Humanity and now fundraising through his music and touring sales.
Speaking on CNN this morning, Connick outlined his plan to help New Orleans, and is doing a lot to help, "Oh My Nola" and a companion album which the royalties will go to the habitat for displace musicians
"A collection of songs that mean something to me about New Orleans,...the other CD is a collection of old New Orleans traditional numbers"
"Musicians village in New Orleans is what we are working on...It's been a tremendous success-we bought about five city blocks, the village will consists of homes and centers for music"
Connick detailed that he was "delighted" to be involved with Habitat for Humanity, When asked by CNN if enough has been done, "I prefer to stay out of those kinds of debates...we just want to make the situation better."
"We're trying to rebuild, and recapture its (New Orleans) glory."
"All I can do is what I can do" said Connick. "I do everything I can to remind people New Orleans is on the rebound.
"We need displaced people to come back home," said Connick.
