Kate Moss run with Rimmel over?
By Stone Martindale Jan 29, 2007, 15:23 GMT
Supermodel Kate Moss may be too old for the cosmetic's giant Rimmel, and may part ways as the face of the company.
The Himalayan Times reports Rimmel has secretly been holding casting calls for younger girls to replace Kate, who turned 33 this month.
"Age catches up with everyone-even Kate. But she hasn't been told anything by Rimmel. At 33 she's getting on in terms of modelling. And she recently moaned about her face, saying she needed Botox," said an unamed source quoted by the News of the World.
"Rimmel is a range for the younger market so that worried them. Now bosses are looking for younger models who can give the brand a fresh approach. Girls have been contacted in secret," the unnamed snitch added.
Rimmel considered dumping her when it was revealed she was a cocaine addict. But she was kept on and secured more deals with other companies to take her earnings last year to over 30 million dollars.
Kate, who is dating addict Pete Doherty, is allegedly in talks with posh cosmetics firms to launch her own make-up range.
