Guy Ritchie is set to make his US television directing debut.
The 'Snatch' director has been lined up to direct 'Suspects', a drama pilot for US television network ABC.
'Suspects' is a crime drama that delves into the lives of all the possible suspects of a crime, before revealing who did it.
'Law and Order' writer Ed Zuckerman, who penned the pilot, will join Ritchie as an executive producer, together with Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly.
Sony Pictures TV will produce the pilot.
Ritchie, who is married to Madonna, wrote and directed the hit gangster movie 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'. A television adaptation of the film was aired on Britain's Channel 4 in 2000.
Ritchie's other directorial credits include the flop remake 'Swept Away' - starring Madonna - and 'Revolver'.
