Demi Moore stopped dieting because she didn't want her daughters to be obsessed with their bodies.
The 'Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle' star - who once endured gruelling diet and exercise regimes to stay in shape - stopped trying to achieve the 'perfect figure' so her children wouldn't obsess about their bodies.
Demi told Vanity Fair magazine: "When I was living that idea that if I was thinner I would be better and more accepted and more attractive I stopped looking at it as being thin or skinny.
"I have three daughters with three very different types of bodies. I have one that's very teeny - always has been. Very long-limbed and naturally thin.
"And then I have my other two, who are much more voluptuous and busty. I just try to encourage them to find the beauty in who they are and what they have, as opposed to focusing on what they're not.
"I want them to know that being thin does not equate to happiness."
Demi has three daughters, Rumer, 18, Scout, 15, and 13-year-old Tallulah, with ex-husband Bruce Willis.
