The Oscar-winning actress, who stars in 'The Fountain', has revealed her parents often doubted her acting talents.
She told Britain's Empire magazine: "My parents were high achievers and harsh critics. They've often said to me, 'That was s**t, you were c**p.' The first time he saw 'Amy Foster', my father said to me, 'I think one day you'll be a good actress.' "
Weisz has also revealed she is desperate to do another 'Mummy' movie with Brendan Fraser and director Stephen Sommers.
She said: "I heard rumblings that Stephen is writing another 'Mummy' movie. I don't know if it's a rumour or true. Right now it doesn't exist, no one has spoken to me. But would I want to do it? Yeah, why not! Get the family back together, go on some adventures."
