Beckhams' scent washes up on US shores

David and Victoria Beckham are launching their best-selling perfumes in the US.

The couple are set to sign a £7 million deal to launch their his and hers scents - the 'Intimately Beckham' range, which has already been a huge success in the UK - Stateside.

A Hollywood insider told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "There's an enormous public appetite over here for David and Victoria. Their fragrances are bound to make millions.'

Posh, 32, was in Paris yesterday (24.01.07) discussing marketing strategies with executives from cosmetic giant Coty.

The former Spice Girl has already landed a £5 million deal to design handbags and shoes in the US.

Mum-of-three Victoria managed to squeeze the meeting in around attending a Chanel fashion show with her close friend Katie Holmes.

The two stars were spotted sporting co-ordinated black outfits.

And Victoria, better known as Posh Spice, was overheard chatting to her designer pal Karl Lagerfeld about the US launch of her fragrance.

Since David announced he was joining US soccer club the Los Angeles Galaxy, he and Victoria have already built-up a keen following of fans and attracted the attention of the American paparazzi.

Last week, the Beckhams were constantly pursued by snappers while house-hunting in Los Angeles.
