Leonardo DiCaprio is a bit of a whiner

It's not enough that he is a handsome, acclaimed movie star who dates supermodels and has his pick of projects, but lately Leonardo DiCaprio has been whining a bit too much with reporters at Newsweek.  Leo revealed that he considered quitting acting for a while after making Titanic because his image was a tad too superficial for his tastes.

Leo was not pleased to be perceived as "another piece of cute meat."  DiCaprio spent many of his younger years with the "pretty boy" image, but was determined to "expand the variety" in his roles.

Really? Like those pretty boy fluff roles in "This Boy's Life," "What's Eating Gilbert Grape", or "The Quick and the Dead?"

"It was pretty disheartening to be objectified like that. I wanted to stop acting for a little bit," he told Newsweek. "It changed my life in a lot of ways, but at the same time, I can't say that it didn't give me opportunities. It made me, for the first time, in control of my career."

Despite the annoying adoration for his looks, Leo stated, "There's no other art form in the world that affects me more. There's nothing that I walk away from feeling transformed by the way I do with cinema."
