Jamie Oliver is scared he is going to get his "a**e kicked" by people sick of his food crusading.
The 'Jamie's School Dinners' star knows there are people out there fed up with his "saintly" image and quest to improve the eating habits of the British public.
Jamie, 31, said: "Actually, I am just waiting to get my a**e kicked. I know it's going to happen any minute. I know there are a lot of people out there who hate my guts and think I'm this arrogant pain in the backside.
"Women tend to like me, but a lot of men hate me. It's the miserable, frustrated sort of blokes I really annoy."
After his 'School Dinners' campaign - which saw Jamie highlight the shocking eating habits of Britain's school children - many school teachers and dinner ladies called for the 31-year-old chef to be knighted.
Jamie's wife, Jools, admits she couldn't even go grocery shopping without women coming up to her to sing her spouse's praises.
She said: "I'll be in the butter aisle and I'll have all these women telling me how wonderful he is. Then I'll call him Sir Jamie to wind him up."
