Unrequited love drove Lindsay to rehab?

Spurned advances and pure indifference might have lead to the binge drinking episode that eventually led actress Lindsey Lohan to Wonderland rehab, if New York Daily News gossip giants Rush and Molloy reports are to be believed.

James Franco was not feeling the love for smitten Lindsay at an Globes afterparty according to their reports, which begs the question, what about the Lindsay and Joe Francis rumors?

Rush & Molloy report Franco ignored her at Prince’s Golden Globes after-party at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel Monday night, reducing Lohan to tears, a unnamed fellow guest told R&M.

“She came with her manager, Jason Weinberg, and a girlfriend, but she was mostly solo for the whole night,” says the Rush & Molloy unnamed source. “Most people were in a good mood — except for her. She seemed lost. She was trying to get James’ attention, and he wouldn’t give her anything. She was smoking a lot, not drinking in front of him, and then she went into a bedroom. From there, she went back to trying to get James’ attention again, and he was ignoring her. She ran out crying, with the girlfriend following her.”

Eventually Lohan was allegedly found passed out in a hotel hallway about 6 a.m.

Lohan has been linked to many beaus, including Joe Francis, Harry Morton, Joaquin Phoenix, Sean Lennon, Jared Leto, Wilmer Valderrama and Brett Ratner in past press reports.

Franco, 28, “ is very happy in his relationship with his girlfriend,” said another unnamed Rush & Molloy snitch.
