Sylvester Stallone never made a film with Arnold Schwarzenegger because their egos got in the way.
The 'Rocky Balboa' actor had a fierce box office rivalry with 'Arnie' in the 80s and he admits the two mega-stars were too big at the time to share a screen.
He revealed to Britain's Zoo magazine: "It didn't happen because of ego, ego, ego. At the time, and maybe for a long time, we were competing with one another."
Stallone has also revealed how two of the 80s other big action stars almost came to blows at a party at his Miami home.
He explained: "I remember one time at my home in Miami, I think it was in 1996 or 1997, Jean Claude Van Damme was there with Steven Seagal, Bruce Willis, Arnie, Shaquille O'Neal, Don Johnson and Madonna. It was a heck of a party. Van Damme was tired of Seagal saying he could kick his ass and went right up to him and offered him the chance to step outside so he could wipe the floor with him, or should I say wipe the backyard with him. Seagal made some excuse and left."
