Give the girl a break......it wouldn't be easy to get up there and remember everything. She is a great talent and shouldn't be blamed for something like that. Look how much negative press Faith Hill got when she was so obviously trying to be funny!!!!!!!!! Sometimes the press are as bad as the paparrazi!!!

I don't think that Jennifer Hudson should have to thanks any of her co-stars...they did not cast her. She earned this one all by her lonesome! GO Jennifer Hudson!!! WOO HOO!

Oh please, if Beyonce weren't 'Beyonce' nobody would have thought anything about her not thanking her. For that matter did she thank her other co-stars?

Way to go Jennifer!!!! She did a stellar job on Dreamgirls and why does Beyonce have to be in her acceptance speak. She worked just as hard as Beyonce on this movie and all that hard work was notice last night. Beyonce is a true talent but it was not about her last night it was about Ms. Hudson.

Jennifer Hudson, You go girl, all i can say is she has a great voice, beautiful personality and respect everyone she works with. The headline 'Jennifer Hudson thanks everyone but Beyoncé'. So what! she does not have to thank Beyonce for anything. She did it right, she thank the most important person 'GOD', Beyonce did not give her the voice that she has, 'God did' everyone need to just lay-off.

I was so glad to see that Jennifer did not forget the person her character was forged from: Ms. Florence Ballard! Glad she had the foresight to acknowledge that! Bravo for thanking inspiration of which Ms. Ballard was indeed!!

Jenifer Hudson should have won. The girl is awesome. Yes, Beyonce can sing and perform but Jenifer can 'SANG' with little or no effort. She thanked who she was suppose to thank and that is all that matters. She had me in tears when she did And I Am Telling You in the movie. I am so proud of her. I hope her career blossoms from this. Keep up the good work and get your speech ready for the Oscars!!!

I am a new found Jennifer Hudson fan. I have not seen the movie yet, but now I plan too. This girl is amazing! She is so 'Real' and a breath of fresh air to see. I wish her all the success in the world! Who cares if she didnt thank Beyonce....I have a feeling Jennifer's star will burn long after we cant remember who Beyonce is. Congrads Jennifer!!

Congrats on a well earned award Jennifer Hudson. I am in agreement, 'So what if she didn't mention names.' I also am tired of hearing the American idol references. Can we let it go already? Jennifer has proven her talent in her own right. It's a beautiful story and she can only go up from here. I predict an Oscar to be sitting next to that Golden Globe very soon. God's favor - that's what all of this is for Jennifer - God's Favor.

Way to go girl!

Well Meryl Streep thanked Beyonce and all the other people in her catergory.
So that counts more than whatever Jennifer could say anyway.

Meryl showed true class. That, along with talent, is what keeps you around. Don't get it twisted.

And if you think talent alone can maintain a career you're naive. Just ask Jennifer Holliday or Terrence Trent D'Abry.

Beyonce was the only one at her table shedding real tears for win. I'm just saying.

Thank Beyonce for what? Jennifer was phenominal in 'Dreamgirls', honestly speaking Beyonce was just eyecandy with no disrespect to Jennifers' beauty at all. The true actress won the award. Best wishes to you Jennifer and may God continuously Bless your Talent!

Beyonce who? Come on, she did not thank any other cast member, if anything, she should have thanked the other nominees (for not being as good! lol), well, i think all winners should give props to the other nominees anyway. I loved her on Idol, I think Simon WAS mean to her, i have rewatched some of her performances, and one can tell that the judges make a decision to back some and not others, and Simon, and Randy, often criticized her wrongfully, like when Simon said she oversang, 'Baby, I Love You'. i hope her CD contains funky music like that also.

The minute i saw the movie, i knew she would win awards. She is amazing with the best performance that I have seen since Whitney did 'I will always love you' in The Bodyguard. Jennifer, you have my vote for all time. We know you will do great and entertain us for a LOOOOOOOOG time!!!!

I loved Jennifer's AND Eddie's performance, but people should not compare them to anybody else in the movie!! Everyone was great in the movie, Beyonce played her part...it is just that Jennifer and Eddie stood out. and yes, by the way, I think Beyonce is genuinely glad for Jennifer, she was in tears, and i think happy for her. People need to stop hating on each other for no good reason!! I have never been a particular fan of Beyonce, but i have to give her credit for understanding pop music and 'Irreplaceable' was the first song of hers that I really liked. One has to give her props for her entertainment abilities.

Why would she thank her co-stars, specifically Beyonce? It wasn’t Beyonce that got her the role, it was the Casting Director. Beyonce is not a 5 time golden globe winner whose experience in movies tops any other female to which Jennifer would be honored to work beside her. Jennifer doesn’t owe her anything and the movie did not draw the crowd it did solely because of Beyonce’s presence.

Kudos Jennifer!

I think we are going to be seeing a lot more of her! And rightfully so.......I have hoped for a long time that someone would come along and remind Beyonce that there will always be someone better just around the corner. She has always had a poor attitude and I think this movie left all of us wondering just how close was this role to her real life? Have her and her father treated the other fallen members of Destiny's Child the same way Effie was treated??? Jennifer is humble and was appreciative to all of the right people Monday night! She is deserving of everything that comes her way! She doesn't owe Beyonce anything! Hopefully this will show Beyonce just where she is headed....ON HER WAY OUT...unless that smug 'better that everyone' attitide changes (which I don't see happening)

Beyonce who? Only kidding, but as far as I am concerned she owed no one a thank you but the one who gave her the gift and she did that. I personally felt she should have been nominated in the 'Best Actress' category. She certainly out acted and out sang eveyone in the show. Not to say that Beyonce didn't do a wonderful job also but hey, Jennifer had 'the' role and 'the' songs and she was superb! I also am very proud of her and look forward to seeing and hearing more of her in the future. I walked away from this movie (three times so far) with the same wonderful feeling that I did when I saw the stage play. You go girl! (I feel the same way about Eddie Murphy's performance). What a great show.

Jennifer Holiday was the star of Dreamgirls. I'm happy now that she was the supporting actress because now she can shine in her own right. She's terrific and her singing blew everyone out of the theatre. Whatever we thought about her singing before, she proved beyond any doubt that she os truly a star and will go a long way.

She had an alloted time as the other winners did...and she was one of the ones that ran over. She did thank the cast....and obviously did'nt have time to thank each and everyone. I'm sure all of them understood. Let's dwell on the Positive- Because of the whole team- the Movie is what it is- and Jennifer is aware of that- being the humble and gracious person she has portrayed.

Jenifer Hudson is an 'anointed' singer, a title few can claim, including Beyonce. It's been years since I've heard such talent. Her talent is a true gift from God. Keep singing like God gave it to you Jenifer!

Beyonce can sang. There is no need for Ms. Hudson to thank Beyonce. Beyonce has bigger and better things going other than waiting for an amatuer to recognize her when she is already recognized by more people than Hudson will ever know.
