Jennifer Hudson thanks everyone but Beyoncé

Golden Globes winner Jennifer Hudson has given high marks and praise for her launch on "American Idol" and tells the foreign press she's proud of the time she spent on the reality TV show. Hudson won Best Supporting Actress at last night's Golden Globe awards for her portrayal of Effie White in Dreamgirls, despite her coming in seventh in the 2004 series of American Idol. Hudson tells the press corps post Globes it enabled her to retire from working on a Walt Disney cruise liner.She says, "I think I was on the right track for my singing career before American Idol, but 'Idol' did help speed my career along. I didn't think things could get any bigger or busier than when I was on Idol, but it has."American Idol is part of my history, and I'm proud of it. It's helped me establish myself as a true artist. Now it's up to me to further my career on my own." Defamer neatly summarized the Hudson Golden Globes acceptance speech, noting Hudson thanked "her director, then God, recognizing the accepted Hollywood order of who wields the most power on a movie set. Number of co-stars thanked by name: zero."

Beyonce can sang. There is no need for Ms. Hudson to thank Beyonce. Beyonce has bigger and better things going other than waiting for an amatuer to recognize her when she is already recognized by more people than Hudson will ever know.
