NFL punts 'trainwreck' Britney Spears

Overexposure has worked against the struggling to make a comeback pop star, Britney Spears.  The NFL is not interested in her Super Bowl participation.

The New York Daily News reports "Britney Spears has crotch-flashed her way out of the Super Bowl."

Currently the lucrative celebrity deals are being ironed out in the casting for an all-star NFL Network promo to air during the Feb. 4th football finale.

An unnamed source familiar with negotiations tells the Daily News Spears' people "were turned down flat" when they enquired about Spears' taking part.

"She's too much of a train wreck," says the unnamed Daily News source said to be an "insider." "Besides, we already have Paris Hilton."  One trainwreck of a blonde is enough for the NFL.

Spears' apparent adverseness to panties in public disqualified her from a Super Bowl still reeling over the Janet Jackson's 2004 nipplegate moment says the unnamed Daily News source.

The NFL Network spot premise is an eclectic group of friends who attend Cincinnati Bengal Chad Johnson's Super Bowl party. Confirmed are L.L. Cool J and country band Rascal Flatts, with Martha Stewart catering.

"Janet Reno and David Beckham are also on the wish list," says the unnamed source. "Larry David said he might do it. Also, we're trying to get Predator, from the movie," reported the New York Daily News.
