Lindsay Lohan's dating Joe Francis

Lindsay Lohan turned down a romantic holiday in Mexico with her new man because she couldn't resist partying at the Golden Globes.

The 'Mean Girls' actress is currently dating movie mogul Joe Francis - who made his fortune producing adult entertainment video series 'Girls Gone Wild' - and the couple planned to leave on Saturday (13.01.07) for a romantic get-away at his Mexican estate.

But a source revealed the wild pair decided to stay in Los Angeles, telling the New York Post newspaper: "Neither of them could resist the lure of the Golden Globe parties."

Francis, 33, is said to have been with 20-year-old Lohan when she went to hospital two weeks ago to have surgery to remove her appendix.

The 'Bobby' star recently admitted she had joined Alcoholics Anonymous in an attempt to control her drinking and wild partying.

Lohan's reputation is in keeping with the contents of the 'Girls Gone Wild' films which feature real-life footage of girls partying, drinking to excess, baring their bodies for the cameras and indulging in lewd activities with each other.
