Teri Hatcher is convinced she will be single forever.

The 'Desperate Housewives' actress admits she can't find a man no matter how hard she seems to try and is starting to believe she will never meet 'Mr Right'.

Teri - who has a nine-year-old daughter from her ex-husband Jon Tenney - said: "It's almost coming to the point where I'm resigned to be a single parent. I don't have that much time to meet men when I'm looking after my daughter. I guess I'm going to have to wait until some wonderful guy sweeps me off my feet."

Although she can't find a man, the 42-year-old actress is adamant she isn't ever going to stop looking.

She added: "I feel like I'm in the same position as every other 42-year-old single mother. I'm going to have a hard time finding the good guys out there. I'm not giving up hope though. I really believe that I'm going to find a great man."

Teri has previously been linked to George Clooney and 'American Idol' host Ryan Seacrest.
