Britney Spears will not be dropped by Jive Records.
Despite rumours that the 'Toxic' singer is about to be dropped by her label, Britney is said to be planning a major pop comeback with the backing of the company.
A source said: "Britney is safe. She's been recording since even before the blow up with Kevin Federline.
"She's working with a lot of different producers. Jive is not dropping her.
"She's just a hit away from being back. Why drop her now?"
Jive was reported to be considering terminating Britney's contract after she was seen falling out of nightclubs with Paris Hilton in the wake of her split from Kevin and being pictured without underwear.
The company was said to be worried her wild antics would affect her ability to sell records.
Britney's biggest fansite, worldofbritney.com, recently closed down after a backlash from fans, however, Britney recently released a statement on her official website thanking all her fans for their support.
