Blaming the heady cocktail concoction of "exhaustion and technical issues," the publicist for Paula Abdul has cancelled all interviews on Friday after a Defamer.com, TMZ, Perez Hilton and a million other websites splashed the YouTube videos (multiple spots) of her bizarre slurry behavior on various news shows and press junket appearances.
The various videos shows Paula acting "not normally," and looking inebriated on something. Paula’s flack is now blaming “technical issues” and “exhaustation” for her wacky on air behavior
He said, “She was exhausted. This was at the end of three days of press (interviews and appearances), and she has had cameras following her around for a reality TV show too. She was sitting in a room with just a camera and a mic on, and the controllers dropped the sound twice, which is why she rolled her eyes. She never drinks. I have known Paula Abdul since she was 13, and I have never seen her drink.”

AS A FORMER PAIN PILL ADDICT I TRULY BELIEVE THAT PAULA ACTED 'STRANGELY' BECAUSE SHE HAD TAKEN A COUPLE/FEW TOO MANY VICODIN. I HAVE BEEN CLEAN OF PAIN MEDS FOR 1 YEAR AND 1 MONTH. I WISH PAULA ABDUL THE BEST!
Easy fix. Bed rest, some time off and re-hab if necessary. No one should be pushed to that kind of limit.
I just want to say that in all the years that Paula has been in the spot light, not once did anyone every say that she was on drugs or that she drink.
Why now? Paula has been the same and acted the same for years! This is Paula!
Paula was always full of life, I think that maybe we should let Paula be Paula, none of us really knows what goes on behind the cameras, we don't know what was going on before the interview, so why do we have to come up with the idea that Paula was on drugs or drinking?
Why accused someone of something if your don't even know them!
If your going to make up your mind by just watching a video, that's sad, very sad.
Don't judge anyone on something you see but don't understand, if Paula is on some kind of medication it's for the pain that she has, she said it time and time again, she explain why it is that at times she's a little more frisky, or may slur her words, how many more times must this lady explain her situation?
All these rumors that are going around is just shameful, it's just not right, not right at all.
She's look hammered on American Idol quite a number of times, some more than others. She also missed a number of episodes early in the season... completely speculation, but likely the producers wouldn't let her on in whatever condition she was in.
No one is buying the tired excuse. Her handlers really need to stop with the BS excuses and get the girl some help. Otherwise they're just enabling self-destructive behavior.
Paula has a syndrome where pain attacks certain limbs and a chemical imbalence occurs to the nervous system. The addiction to pain killers makes total sense since she mostly likely takes them to have the pain subside. Hope she gets better.

OMG!!!!How could the network even allowed Paula to interview as long as she did...the two co-anchors interviewing her were clearly having a blast laughing at her....
Paula was and probably is a good part of the time.. clearly MESSED up...and if anyone cares about her they need to stop inventing stupid fictitious stories blaming exhaustion and network issues...and do an intervention and get that woman help...before it is too late!
I think it is SAD.
