Renée Zellweger says acting helped her get over her split from husband Kenny Chesney.
The 'Miss Potter' actress - who was only married to the country singer for four months after tying the knot with him in May 2005 - says throwing herself into work helped her deal with the heartache.
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "I tried to stay focused. Being on a movie set actually helps me. My family and friends also helped of course. Whenever I go through a rough spot my brother seems to be there. He just pops up and holds me."
The 37-year-old star - who has previously dated Jim Carrey and George Clooney - admits she had days when she felt so low she struggled just to get out of bed.
She said: "It was tough at times because there are days you just want to stay in bed, but in my business there are no sick days and there are no options to hide from the world. Work is my creative outlet, my joy and my bliss."
