For someone who called himself the 'hardest working man in show business' and was known as a perfectionist, he really didn't take care of business by not updating his will and providing for his son and wife. It is so sad that they are being kicked to the curb.

I wish that this matter can be resolved so that The Godfather of Soul can be laid to rest. I'm quit sure Mr. Brown would have want his wife (if she is his wife) and five year old son taken care of as well.

When I saw James Brown in N'Awlins. Women from all over the country traveled with his band or was waiting to get some action. However, those who know James should put the public humilation of Tami Rae to rest by addressing the truth. Is she his wife? Did he love her? Did he love his son? In many states, common-law marriages are legal. First, if she knows she was faithful and this is his son, she should take a paternity test. Forget the nonsense about the adult children taking one. Get to the core of the truth. Hire a hardnose lawyer. Bury the man and the hatchet in court. I feel sorry for all. I expected Rev. Sharpton to be a man of God and let James rest in peace. He knows this is not a godly act to be disrespectful to the dead or living. Truth, told only to those who know the truth. In James words, 'Please! Please! Please!

Maybe James Brown knew that the child may not have been his. who is to say, that when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, the Dr. told him there was no way he fathered a child. And regarding His suppose to be wife,present wife or whatever she was to him at the time. the Lord will provide. I am sure she will come out with a book (that I would not buy) or be paid to come out and talk on talk shows. She may have loved him, who's to say. Strange things do happen, but no one know what goes on behind closed doors.

Sometimes we go through life expecting nothing to happen. If James Brown Jr is the Godfather's child whether he was married to Ray Hynie or not, I think that DNA testing should be done to see if he actually is the Godfather's child. Then I hope and pray that if in fact that is true that all of the Godfather's children who say that they really loved their father and acknowledges that James Jr is their brother that they do the right thing. What probably happened is that the Godfather probably never thought about updating the will, or if he did he just never got around to it because sometimes we all act like tomorrow is promised to us. And then things like this happen. I just hope and pray for everyone involved that this situation is solved very soon so that my 'GODFATHER' CAN HAVE HEAVENLY PEACE AND SLEEP.

James Brown wimped out by not taking care of this business regarding James Brown Jr. when he was alive. If he suspected that the child was not his, then he should have delt with it earlier. The boy is five years old, and he had ample time to have a DNA test taken. This was a thoughtless act on his part. If the child isn't his, it may be the mother's fault, but it isn't the child's fault. I don't understand why he would leave such a mess behind him.

The life of the Godfather of Soul is a mixed-up mess other than his music - this is just another ugly chapter, but then, maybe the music is enough to erase all of this???????

Why do black people have to have and disagree about a will and the deceased Estate,if that is the way he left it to his daughters then so be it,my words of encouragement is take care of your business while the blood is running warm in your veins. Dot every eye cross every T.In other words get on the good foot....

This is typical of the black race. Sire a child and leave him/her to fend for themselves. There has never been doubt as to the relationship between Brown and this child.

Does it seem unusual that the family would kick the child and mother to the curb? I don't think so. The Brown family has exhibited the qualities so ingrained in black society. They have no respect and responsibility for parenthood. Sure, there are many black family reunions nationwide every summer, but it's a smoke screen. Family means nothing to them in general. Likewise, the selfish and inhumane behavior of the family toward a 'blood' relative is demonstrative of their reckless behavior. Had the mother of Brown's youngest child been black, circumstances would change. But, she's white. Black's make up the most significant group of racist in America. Hypocrits, all of them!

well first of all i think that the family should all have an agreement on behalf of getting a dna test for the child and if he is part of the family then treat him like he's family and then you all can go on with your lives you see the godfather went on with his heavenly life and left his family to pick up from where he left off he would at least want you all to be happy and do the right thing becasue god is taking care of him right now.And last but not least i hope that you all find a final resting place soon so mr.james brown can rest in peace.Also to you godfather we still love you and forever missing you keeping your memory alive!!!!!!!!!!
