Pregnant Marcia Cross ordered to bed rest

"Desperate Housewives" star Marcia Cross, who is expecting twins in April with her husband, Tom Mahoney, has been put on restricted bed rest by doctors, according to TV Guide. Her spokeswoman, Heidi Slan called it a "precautionary measure."Producers of ABC's "Desperate Housewives," in which Cross stars as obsessive compulsive control freak Bree, have moved production to the actress' Los Angeles home for two days, according to the story posted on TV Guide's Web site.Cross, whose character isn't pregnant, had planned to film two more shows after the Feb. 11 episode because it was becoming too difficult to hide her pregnancy, TV Guide reported.Cross and Mahoney married in June, 2006 reports affiliate KNBC Los Angeles.
