Oh, no! Not the Thighmaster!!!! lmfao :-p~@ Perhaps this is poetic justice for hubby's horrible talk show infliction. I guess they'll have to go live on that one set they built for Somers during her last stint on TC, having to do phone-in scenes at the back of the soundstage after all the other actors taped their scenes. hehe
I had said this on another blog, and I will say it again. This ,too, shall pass.It will be difficult ,but not impossible for Suzanne and her family to rise above this adversity and be comfortable again. Many people on other blogs are taking a sick, sadistic delight in Suzanne's troubles and making unspeakable comments. These are to be ignored, for they know not what they say. If Suzanne had upset anyone with her comments about soldiers in Iraq ,it was unintended. The best thing to do is offer prayers for Suzanne Somers and her family, and keep writing encouraging blogs. She still has talent, and that will help her to find whatever works she needs to rebuild and recover. Personally,I wish her well in this endeavor.
Suzannne knows what she said. It is clear that, she is so obsessed in thought, even though her house has just been destroyed, she is still going to use the microphone to bash the war, and though not said, our current President.
I know the devastation of seeing a home burn. Last year on January 15th, I watched helplessly as my son, his wife, and their two daughters home burned. Several of the local fire departments reponded along with the recue squad and friend, neighbors, and family. My daughter-in-law saved only two coats she had laying on her bed. She did not have a thing to put on...not even a bra or any underwear. My daughter went to town and bought my daugher-in-law some clothes. People from churches all around gave money and some brought clothes. Everyone was so nice. Although they are presently living in a double-wide which is 22 years old, at least they had a place to go to the next day. A few years back I had given a piece of land and the double-wide to my son. It was completely furnished which he had done before hand because at the time of the fire, he was renting it to a friend. The friend moved the next day and had no problem with it. He was able to move next door to a vacant house. God does provide to those in need.
I can't believe there are people who have no sympathy at all for those people who have homes burned. I can't believe there are folk out there who are upset with Mrs. Somers because she may not agree with President Bush or is against the war. I agree with her about the war. I think we have lost enough people already. Why send more troops to have more young men and women killed? What have we accomplished? Nothing.
I don't expect everyone to agree with me on my political standing, however, I do expect all people to have some compassion for those no matter if they are a celebrity or not. Everyone has feelings. I imagine that Mrs. Somers had many things that were of sentimental value. True that they can rebuild most likely, but still seeing something someone has worked for burned to the ground is awful. I watched my son and his family and knew how bad they were hurting. I told them that I wish it had been my house. I could have dealth with it much better than seeing my son's home burn. He only lacked 6 years having it paid for. Nonetheless, no lives were lost...not even their little dog. I say that when no lives are lost that we need to thank God and I have and feel sure that they have too.
People out there who are quickly to say negative remarks about some celebrity's home burning should rethink what you are saying and ask God to forgive you for that remark. Who knows? It could be your home next and there is an old saying that goes 'What goes around comes around.' I pray that you people who have negative remarks to make will think long and hard about statements you make.

I feel very sorry for Suzanne. I think she will make it through ok. She is a very strong person.
I don't think Suzanne was making any negative comment about our service people in Iraq. My GOD People, she just lost everything she has. Have a little compassion. My brother was hurt a bomb attach in Iraq. Maybe she is just saying matters could be worse and she doesn't have to worry for someone's safety. As Americans, maybe we should all start standing together instead of dividing ourselves. Pray for Suzanne. She has just had another tragedy. Sound's like you are just looking for a reason to complain.
