01/05/2007 - Elton John - Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum Presents The British Royals - Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum - New York, NY © Janet Mayer / PhotorazziThe flamboyant musician admits he has "let himself go" in recent months and is giving up his favourite meal, all junk food and embarking on a rigorous exercise regime so he is in shape for the landmark day on March 25.He told Britain’s Radio 1: "I’ve let myself go recently so I’m going on a diet and making an effort to do more exercise so that I’m looking good for my birthday."Elton, who is famed for his lavish bashes, has revealed he and his partner David Furnish are planning something extra-special for the big day.However, the ‘Rocket Man’ singer is refusing to give much away about the party.He explained: "We have a trick up our sleeves for my 60th celebrations which we have been planning for two years.
